2023 Midyear Retail Market Vacancy/Net Absorption

Overall Toledo retail space market vacancy declined .2% over the second half of 2023 from year end as increases in vacancy in the South/Southwest and West Toledo/Sylvania submarkets offset improvements throughout the rest of the submarkets. 

Similarly, positive net absorption in North Toledo and Perrysburg/Rossford was nearly entirely offset by negative net absorption in the South/Southwest and West Toledo/Sylvania submarkets. Most of the absorption occurred among anchor spaces and the losses among in-line spaces.
